SkyWerx, a locally owned Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP) based in Pagosa Springs has been chosen as one of the50 Colorado Companies to Watch (CCTW) for 2014.
CCTW is a statewide awards program that celebrates second-stage companies that are developing valuable products and services, creating quality jobs, enriching communities, and creating new industries throughout the state.
SkyWerx was selected among over 1200 applicants and joins forty-nine other winners representing the best of what Colorado has to offer in Stage 2 growth companies.

SkyWerx serves Pagosa Springs, Bayfield, Durango and parts of the San Luis Valley by deploying high speed wireless broadband and quality service to their customers.
Southwest Colorado has seen 14 companies recognized since the program’s inception in 2009, the most of any rural region in the State. Southwest Colorado is also home to another 2014 winner, Fast Track Communications.
Eligible companies must be privately held and headquartered in Colorado, have 6 to 99 full-time equivalent employees, and have $750,000 to $50 million in sales or a similar range of working capital.
