Staff from the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) will be in Durango on Thursday, January 15th for an update with economic development, business and community leaders.
The agenda will include an update on the Colorado Blueprint, regional industry trends, a grant opportunity for Advanced Industries, an update from the Colorado Tourism Office and opportunities to learn more about State business resources. The meeting will be at the Durango Public Library-1900 E. 3rd Avenue, Durango. The group is touring the Western Slope, stopping in Montrose on the 14th and the San Luis Valley on the 16th.
OEDIT works to advance the state's economy through financial and technical assistance in support of local and regional economic development activities throughout Colorado. They offer a host of programs and services tailored to support business development at every level including business retention and relocation services; business finance and incentive programs; the Colorado Tourism Office; Creative Industries; the Colorado International Trade Office; the Colorado Small Business Development Centers; Film, TV & Media; minority and women-owned business services and economic research.
